PHILADELPHIA, May 29, 2015 — Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams is planning to help celebrate the 125th anniversary of Sharon Hill tomorrow morning during a parade, and he’ll recognize retiring crossing guards and the teacher of the year during the 12th Police District School Crossing Guards’ annual awards program tomorrow afternoon.

Sharon Hill’s 125th anniversary celebration parade is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. at the intersection of Chester Pike and Garvin Boulevard. Sen. Williams will be riding in a yellow Mustang convertible.

At 2 p.m., the Democratic lawmaker will visit the 12th Police District School Crossing Guards to take part in its annual awards event honoring a teacher of the year, retiring crossing guards, and one crossing guard who will be honored for their community service.

Williams will present the teacher of the year award.
